The Big Kahoona's Home Page

Dante (The Big Kahoona) Welcomes You!!!!

My Name is Dante (The Big Kahoona).

At 43 years old, I am a Visual Artist,Writer,Mr. Mom,Son and Husband. At heart, I am a philosopher, and have always been interested in questions about our existence here on our little planet,......... Earth.

So, a little forward pertaining to what this site is about: I will be deeply investigating life and the methods to which people live their lives. I will dissect the human experience in such a way, that I hope, will inspire real thought and provoke questions in the individual mind.

Other Issues.

Other issues that I will be covering are: Art, Literature, Humor, Movies, Children, Friends and Family. In general, it will pretty much cover all aspects of life as we know it. I hope to create entertainment for you, while making you think.

On the right you will notice one of my early self portraits. This painting is an expression of what is in my being. Even though it is an early work, and I was still unsure of my abilities as a Visual Artist, it shows that inside of me was something very untamed. I, at that point, could not yet express other parts of my emotion. It didn’t relate my desire to control or to be neat and organized. Every human that lives has a desire to create and to have their beliefs know to others. If you are reading this right now, you may be in a job that is not very fulfilling, or maybe your family life is not what you believe it should be. Maybe you have yet to find the partner of your dreams and this is making you miserable. Perhaps you are just depressed and don’t even know the cause for it.

Well, I am hear to explore these issues, and maybe even help a little along the way.

Mr. Mom

Family

On the right is a picture of My wife Laurie and myself on our wedding day. I didn't really know it at the time, but marrying her would be one of the best decisions that I would ever make.

On a personal note: I would just like to say that on my wedding day, I was "coughing up a lung", all day long. People kept saying things to me like, "Oh,.you're just nervous," or "You had better quite smoking."  I told everyone that I was sick, but no one would believe me!

I went to the hospital the next day and guess what?

 I had Strep Throat.

So when I say that I am sick, please believe me!
